Find what a feature does, choose your next action and check the result. Guidance is optional: you choose and confirm all app actions. Help never creates a room, joins, saves picks, posts or changes consent.
For account or pool help, contact support@throttleleague.app. Include the page, room or race, what happened, approximate time and device/browser. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or account tokens.
Guidance progress stays in this browser, separately for each account and Guest use. It is not synchronized across devices. Closing or skipping guidance keeps it optional; replay from Help whenever useful.

Make Home useful to you
Home brings together your preferred racing series, a race to follow and your own Hub posts. Start with the race banner: its series, event and status tell you which racing information you are looking at.
What to do
Check the series and event named in the banner before opening Race Details.
To change your usual Home series, open Settings → Home banner, choose your preference and save it.
Use Race Center when you want to explore another series without changing your saved Home preference.
Understand the race message
An upcoming race, a confirmed current race, a completed season and unavailable information need different next steps. A completed-season message means there may be no further race in that selected season. A loading or unavailable message means the app has not yet supplied the information; it does not mean the season has ended.
My Hub is your space
My Hub on Home is for posts you make. Open Throttle Hub for the wider public conversation. If you are signed out, sign in to see your own posts and use account features.
If something is wrong
If the race information is still loading, allow it to finish. If an error offers Retry, try again. Check the saved series if the banner shows a different competition from the one you expected.
Your saved preference chooses the racing series shown on Home. It is an account preference, so you can explore other racing information without repeatedly changing what you see when you return Home.
What to do
Sign in, open Settings and find Home banner.
Choose the racing organization and series offered there, then save your change.
Return Home and check that the banner names your newly saved series.
Saving and browsing are different
Changing the series while browsing Race Center changes that view. It does not replace your saved Home preference. Use Settings when you want Home itself to change.
When the series has finished
A valid preference can still point to a completed season. Keep that preference if it is your usual series, or choose another series you want to follow. A next-season date can appear only when that schedule is available.
Rapid changes use your latest saved choice
Home uses the latest successfully saved account preference. A late response for an earlier series must not replace a newer selection. If saving is uncertain, inspect the saved Settings choice before trying again. Guidance never saves that preference.
If something is wrong
If you change preferences while race information is loading, let the latest selection finish. If the old series remains after the save completes, reopen Settings to check the saved choice before retrying Home. Guests can browse, but need an account to save this preference.
Race Details takes you from the Home banner to the event it is describing. Use it to check the race itself before looking at results, predictions or your Pool or League.
What to do
Read the banner’s series and event name.
Select Race Details to open that event in Race Center.
Check the event name, track, date, start time and status in the details.
Check the time as well as the date
Read the time zone shown with the event. If the start time is unconfirmed or unavailable, treat it as unknown rather than assuming a time. Your Pool or League has its own displayed selection deadline; check that deadline in the room.
A result and a pool score are different
Race Details describes the sporting event. Your room’s History explains how selected drivers contributed under your saved scoring rules. A completed race does not by itself mean every pool score has finished processing.
If something is wrong
If the banner has no event to open, read its message first. A completed season, missing schedule and failed load are different situations. Use Race Center to browse the available season, or Retry if the app offers it.
Race Center organizes racing information by organization, series and season. Those choices determine which races, results, standings and driver analysis you see.
What to do
Choose the racing organization, then the series you want to follow.
Select the season you want to inspect.
Open Schedule, Standings, Driver Odds or Driver Averages for that selection.
Keep the context consistent
Before comparing two screens, check that they refer to the same series and season. A driver’s older results, a current-season schedule and a different series can all be valid information while answering different questions.
Explore without changing Home
You can browse an earlier season or another series here. Your Home racing preference is saved separately in Settings. Series standings here describe the racing competition; player standings belong to the individual Pool or League.
If something is wrong
If an event or driver seems to be missing, check the organization, series and season first. Then read any loading or availability message. An empty result should not be treated as proof that the driver did not compete.
Schedule shows the selected event above the complete season list. The controls change that panel without scrolling down the list.
What to do
Choose the intended organization, series and season, then open Schedule.
Use Previous Race or Next Race to move chronologically from the displayed event. Latest Completed selects the most recent confirmed completed race.
Open Race Details / Results for the displayed event, or select a row in the full schedule below.
Selection stays in this racing context
The panel keeps a valid selection for this organization, series and season. Refreshing available information keeps that selection when it still exists. Previous and Next stop at the first and last event; they do not switch seasons.
Unconfirmed information stays visible
A provisional event or weekend can be displayed without an invented start time. Latest Completed is unavailable when no completed race is confirmed. Dates, venue and session details may still be announced.
If something is wrong
A missing shortcut can mean there is no qualifying event in the selected season or the necessary information is unavailable. Read the schedule message, browse the available rows and use Retry if a load failed.
Open an event from Schedule to see the available information for that race. Start with its identity and status so you know whether you are reading a future event, a current event or a completed result.
What to do
Select the race’s schedule row.
Check the event, series, track, date, time and status.
Inspect available results or other race information, then close the details to return to Schedule.
Missing information has a meaning
An unknown start time is not a midnight start. A result that has not arrived is not a zero finish or zero score. Read the status next to the information rather than filling in a value yourself.
Race timing and pick deadlines
Use the race time to plan when to watch. Use the deadline shown in your Pool or League to plan when to submit picks. Do not assume those two times are identical, particularly for a Team Draft that locks at its first included event.
If something is wrong
If the wrong event opens, check the selected series and season and return to the intended schedule row. If details fail to load, use the offered Retry and keep the event name handy if you need help.
Race results tell you how drivers finished in the sporting event. A Pool or League uses those results with its own saved rules to calculate player scores.
What to do
Open a completed race from Schedule.
Read the available result summary and driver rows.
For your own score, open the relevant Pool or League → More → History and choose that race or week.
Published results and saved scores
Results may be available before a room has completed scoring. A pending room score is not automatically a missing driver contribution. Check the room’s processing status, then expand its saved driver breakdown when a score is available.
Read missing and unclassified values carefully
Blank or unavailable information is not a recorded zero. A driver can also be shown as not classified. Use the displayed result and status rather than treating every non-numeric entry as the same outcome.
If something is wrong
If a total looks wrong, compare the exact event, your saved drivers, the room’s scoring rules and each saved contribution. Series championship points and fantasy pool points can differ without either being incorrect.
There are two different competitions to follow. Race Center shows standings in the real racing series. Your Pool or League shows standings between the people playing in that room.
What to do
Open Standings in Race Center to follow drivers in the selected series and season.
Open your Pool or League’s Overview or standings to compare player totals.
Check the season or included races before comparing totals from different screens.
Why totals differ
A series championship uses the racing organization’s rules. A room uses its selected drivers, included races and saved scoring settings. A driver’s championship total is therefore not the number a player should necessarily have in a pool.
Read the direction of scoring
Some room formats reward higher points totals. Finish Position scoring favors lower totals. Check the room’s rules and saved rank rather than assuming that the largest number must lead.
If something is wrong
If someone appears to be in the wrong place, check whether you are reading series or player standings, then inspect included race scores and the room’s tie-breakers. A pending race may not yet contribute to the total.
The Drivers directory shows driver records for the selected racing context. Choose Active or Historical and use Sort, then open a driver card for the details available for that driver.
What to do
Open Drivers, or Race Center → Drivers, and choose the intended organization, series and season.
Choose Active or Historical, then use Sort to arrange the driver cards. Historical browsing requires member access.
Open a driver card to read Driver Details; use Close to return to the directory.
A directory is not an event entry list
An active driver record does not by itself confirm participation in a particular race. For an upcoming prediction, check the event and whether its candidate list is confirmed or provisional.
Compare like with like
A driver may have records in more than one series or season. Check the context before comparing their results or averages. Missing fields mean the app does not have that detail available in the record; they are not necessarily zero values.
If something is wrong
If a driver is missing, check the racing context and Active versus Historical. This directory currently offers Sort rather than a visible name-search field. Guests can browse active drivers; sign in for historical browsing. Missing exact-season records do not prove a driver did not compete.
Driver Odds estimates each driver’s chance of winning the selected event. Use the numbers and “Why this prediction” to compare drivers, alongside the event’s current information and your room’s rules.
What to do
Check the series, event and prediction status.
Compare Win Chance and Crew Chief Odds, then open the driver’s numerical explanation.
Check the candidate-list and starting-position messages before relying on information that is still pending.
Read the two numbers
Win Chance is a percentage; Crew Chief Odds converts the same full probability into a signed number. Below 50%, smaller positive values mean a higher chance. At 50% the value is +100. Above 50%, values are negative, with larger absolute values indicating a higher chance. This is one forecast expressed two ways.
Provisional drivers and pending starts
When a confirmed event entry list is not yet available, predictions can use the current series roster. That list is provisional: participation is not confirmed. A pending starting position means the position is not yet available in the displayed information. Read the explanation to see whether the current prediction used starting positions; do not assume every series uses the same inputs.
What the explanation can tell you
Why this prediction shows the numerical factors used for that calculation. The current model does not treat practice and qualifying as independent prediction factors. A higher estimate is not a promise that a driver will win.
Starting-grid support by series
The current Cup model can incorporate a complete qualified starting grid when recalculated. Other current series models show published starting positions as context without using the grid in the prediction. Practice and qualifying are not separate model inputs. A new entry list or grid does not promise an immediate recalculation: check the calculation’s status and explanation. A qualified official event entry list replaces the provisional series-roster candidate basis when available to the published calculation.
Reading a numerical example
Crew Chief Odds uses a signed numeric conversion of the full probability, rounded to the nearest integer. A 25% Win Chance corresponds to +300; 50% corresponds to +100; 75% corresponds to −300. Below 50%, a smaller positive value means a higher chance. Above 50%, values are negative and larger absolute values mean a higher chance. These are two representations of the same estimate. A rounded percentage may not reproduce the exact displayed number.
If something is wrong
If predictions are unavailable, check the event status and use Retry when offered. Do not substitute a different race’s prediction. If a start or entry list has just been published, allow the app’s next update to appear before assuming the current prediction includes it.
Driver Averages summarizes available historical results for the racing context you select. It can help you compare performance, but the range and track selection matter as much as the number.
What to do
Choose the intended series and season in Race Center.
Open Driver Averages and review the available race-range and track filters.
Compare drivers using the same settings, noting any missing history.
An average needs a context
An average finish summarizes a set of races. A track-specific average and a season-wide average cover different sets, so they should not be read as interchangeable descriptions of the next race. Check the period and any sample count shown.
History is information, not a guarantee
Past results can help explain a prediction, but they do not report what will happen next. Missing history is not a perfect result, a worst result or a zero. Keep those gaps in mind when comparing drivers.
If something is wrong
If the figures look surprising, reset the filters and check the series, period and track. Use the underlying race results where available to understand what the average covers.
Pools/Leagues is where you find competitions, inspect their rules and open rooms you have joined. You can explore a public room before deciding whether to play.
What to do
Search for the room’s name, browse public rooms or enter an invitation code.
Open its preview and check the racing series, included races, format and scoring.
If it suits you, sign in and use the available joining option.
Choose the competition that fits
A familiar name is not enough: check the season, pick requirements and deadline as well. Two rooms following the same race can use different scoring or selection rules.
Previewing and joining are separate
Opening a public preview does not add you as a player. Joining is a separate action, and some rooms may require an invitation or approval. After membership is confirmed, open the room to see its player controls.
If something is wrong
If a room does not appear in public browsing, try its exact name or the invitation code you received. Private rooms may need an invitation. If a code is rejected, ask the commissioner to check the invitation rather than guessing variations.
A public preview lets you understand a Pool or League before becoming a player. Read the rules that affect what you must pick, when you must pick it and how the result is scored.
What to do
Open the public room’s preview.
Check its series, season, format, included races and selection deadline.
Review scoring, stage options, capacity and joining requirements before selecting Join.
Questions worth answering first
Will you make fresh picks for each race or keep a drafted team? Can another player choose the same driver? Does the room use official Driver Points, finishing positions or Custom points? The room’s saved rules answer these questions; its name alone does not.
Reading on a phone
Some tables contain more columns than fit on a narrow screen. Swipe horizontally within the table to inspect the remaining information. Use the preview’s close control to return to browsing.
If something is wrong
If Join is unavailable, read the membership or capacity message. Sign in if you are browsing as a guest. Being able to read a public preview does not necessarily make the room open for new players.
Joining makes you a participant in the selected Pool or League. The app checks the room’s current joining rules and your membership before opening player access.
What to do
Sign in with the account you want to use for playing.
Open the intended room and follow its Join or invitation instructions.
Wait for the membership result; after a confirmed join, choose Open pool room.
Read the outcome
You may already belong, be able to join immediately or need an invitation or approval. Follow the displayed outcome rather than repeatedly pressing Join. A room preview and a confirmed membership are different states.
Find your player controls
Once inside, look for My Picks or Draft Room as offered by that room. Selection controls also depend on the format, the deadline and, in ordered formats, whose turn it is. Membership alone does not mean every pick is currently available.
If something is wrong
If a join or membership check fails, use Retry if offered and check the account you are signed into. If approval or an invitation is required, ask the commissioner. An administrative role does not automatically replace joining as a player.
Preparation and the first draft opening
Creating a Pool or League begins preparation. Members can join under its access and capacity rules, or use Leave Pool in Members & Invitations before the first draft opening. The commissioner can open the draft or schedule its opening. That first opening permanently closes both joining and leaving, even before anyone picks and between later races or draft rounds. Earlier invitations do not override the lock. A nonparticipating member remains in the pool and follows its existing automatic-pick rules. Saved picks, earned scores and history remain. Before leaving during preparation, a primary commissioner must transfer ownership when others remain; the last commissioner uses the existing safe close or archive action. Global notification preferences and SMS consent remain unchanged.
An invitation code helps you find and request access to the specific room you were invited to. Check the room details before joining so you do not enter the wrong competition.
What to do
Copy the code you received and enter it in the invitation or search field.
Open the matching result and check the room name, series and season.
Sign in if needed, then follow the displayed joining steps.
A code and a completed join are different
Finding a room from a code does not necessarily finish membership. Wait for the join result and use Open pool room once it is confirmed. Any approval requirement still applies.
Use the right account
Choose the account you intend to use throughout the competition. A private room or player screen that opens for one account may not be available to a different signed-in account or to a guest.
If something is wrong
If the invitation is expired, unavailable or rejected, check that you copied the complete code without extra spaces. If it still fails, ask the commissioner to check or replace the invitation. Do not send anyone your password or sign-in code.
Setup takes you through the choices that define your competition, then gives you a final Review before creation. Decide how your group wants to play before choosing the detailed rules.
What to do
Open Pools/Leagues → Create Pool or League.
Work through Basics, Format, Picks, Scoring, Players and Schedule.
Use Review to check the complete setup; create the room when the choices are ready.
Start with the big decisions
Choose the racing series and season, how many races you want to include, whether players make fresh picks or retain a team, and how you want scores compared. These choices shape the later options.
Use Back to adjust the draft
You can revisit setup steps before creation. Review dependent choices again after changing a format or scoring option, because the available settings may change. Racing organization, series and season are fixed after creation; do not rely on changing them later.
If something is wrong
If a setup step is waiting for driver or schedule information, let that check finish or use Retry if it fails. Do not choose an unrelated series just to get past a loading problem. Closing setup before creation does not create the room.
Basics identifies the competition and sets its racing scope. Use a recognizable name and double-check the organization, series and season before continuing.
What to do
Enter a clear room name your players will recognize.
Choose the racing organization, series and season.
Choose the available visibility option: public discovery or private invitation access.
Racing scope stays fixed
Organization, series and season identify the racing competition this room follows. They cannot be changed later. A name can describe your group or event, but it does not override the actual racing scope selected in setup.
Public does not mean joined
Public visibility lets people discover and preview a room. They still need to follow its joining rules to become players. Private rooms use invitation access. Invitations are available after the room has been created.
If something is wrong
If setup rejects a name or scope, follow the message next to that field. Check the selected season carefully when preparing a future competition. Do not assume a similar room name means it follows the same races.
The format determines how your competition runs over its included races. Choose it around the commitment you want from your players: one event, fresh selections across races or a retained draft team.
What to do
Read the formats offered for your selected racing scope.
Choose the duration and selection approach that fits your group.
Check which pick and scoring options become available before moving on.
Single Event and repeated competition
Single Event covers one race. Weekly Picks supports repeated selections across included races. A League is an ongoing competition across the races you include; check those races in Schedule rather than assuming every event in a season is selected.
Team Draft
Team Draft retains the selected team across its included races. That changes both what players need to select and how the first-event deadline matters. Choose it when you want players to build a team rather than treat every race as a fresh selection.
Exact format choices
The Format step offers Single Event, Weekly Picks and League. Single Event and Weekly Picks offer Pick the Winner, Pick Top 3, Pick Top 10 and Pick Full Order. League uses Team Draft. Team Draft is the selection model within League, rather than a fourth duration.
If something is wrong
If you change format during setup, revisit Picks, Scoring, Players and Schedule. A choice that was valid under the previous format may no longer apply. Review the final combination, not just the format name.
The selection model determines how much each player must choose and whether driver ownership is shared. These choices affect the time needed to play and the room’s capacity.
What to do
Read the selection models offered for the chosen format.
Choose how many drivers or ranking positions a player must submit.
Check the shared-driver or unique-driver rule, then review player capacity.
Winner and multiple-driver choices
Pick the Winner uses unique driver ownership. Pick Top 3 and Pick Top 10 allow shared drivers and independent submissions. “Shared” means more than one player may select the same driver; “unique” means ownership is limited within the competition’s selection rules.
Full Order and Team Draft
Pick Full Order requires a complete ranking of the eligible drivers. Team Draft requires one eligible driver from each required group and allows shared drivers. Check the required groups or ranking positions before assuming a partial selection is complete.
Shared Full Order
Pick Full Order is independent and shared between players: everyone ranks every eligible driver, and different players may submit the same order. A driver must not be repeated within your own ranking.
If something is wrong
If a choice is disabled or a driver cannot be selected, check the current format, ownership rule and eligibility message. Unique ownership can limit available places or drivers; independent shared selections do not rely on waiting for another player’s turn.
Pick settings determine when players can act and which additional choices are allowed. Review only the options offered for your selected format; not every room uses turns or trades.
What to do
Check whether players submit independently or follow an ordered turn.
For an ordered format, review the player order and turn instructions.
Read any second-pick threshold and trade settings before accepting the setup.
Independent submissions and ordered turns
Independent formats let eligible players submit their selections before the deadline without waiting for another player. Ordered formats follow the saved player order and the current turn. Joining a room does not automatically mean it is your turn.
Extra choices have conditions
A second pick depends on the saved eligibility threshold; it is not an automatic extra selection for everyone. A trade requires the other participant’s acceptance. Check the room’s actual status before assuming a proposed change has taken effect.
When second picks and trades apply
Second picks are offered for Weekly Picks with unique Pick the Winner. The point difference is how far behind the leader you must be: leader points minus your points in higher-score modes, or your points minus leader points in Finish Position. Meeting the threshold qualifies; zero makes every player eligible. Participant trades are offered only where supported. A completed accepted exchange counts once for both participants against the saved season or week allowance; pending, declined and cancelled proposals do not count.
If something is wrong
If you cannot act, read whether the room is waiting on a turn, eligibility check or deadline. If you are creating the room, return to Format if the options do not match how you want your group to play.
The scoring mode supplies the base score for each counted driver. Stage settings and any separate bonuses then affect the final score according to the room’s saved rules.
What to do
Choose Driver Points, Finish Position or Custom from the supported options.
For Custom, review the position values and treatment of remaining positions.
Review earned stages and extra bonuses, then check the complete combination on Review.
Driver Points
Uses the official race points total. That total already includes awarded stage points, so those same points must not be added again. A separately configured stage-win bonus is a different room rule.
Finish Position
Uses finishing position as the base score, and lower totals win under this scoring mode. Read stage and bonus settings alongside it; do not assume that a rule with a familiar name behaves the same in every room.
Custom and a zero base
Custom uses the position points you configure. “Zero points” for remaining positions means a zero base for those positions. It does not by itself disable included earned stage points or an extra stage-win bonus. A driver can therefore have a zero base and a nonzero final contribution.
Remaining positions and saved overrides
Custom offers Finish position number or Zero points for positions outside your configured table. Finish position number uses the actual finish number as the base; Zero points uses zero. A configured position value, including zero, overrides the fallback. Older saved rules may use a Driver Points fallback or explicit position overrides: read the saved breakdown rather than assuming every room was created with today’s options.
Finish Position with stages and bonuses
In Finish Position mode, Include earned stage points adds those earned points to the finishing-position base. An enabled extra stage-win bonus also adds to that number. Lower final totals still rank ahead: these additions increase the total rather than subtracting from it. Display only adds no separate earned-stage amount. Review this combination before choosing it.
If something is wrong
If displayed stage points seem not to increase a score, check whether the rule is Display only or the base is Official Driver Points. Use the saved contribution breakdown before adding numbers yourself.
There are two stage-related choices. Earned stage points are points a driver receives in the race. A stage-win bonus is an additional amount your room awards for a stage win. They are not the same rule.
What to do
Read the room’s base scoring mode first.
Choose whether earned stages are included or displayed only.
If an extra stage-win bonus is enabled, check its amount and remember it applies to counted drivers who win stages.
Include versus Display only
Include counts available earned stage points once. Display only makes those points visible without a separate addition. If the base is Official Driver Points, earned stage points are already in that official total: displaying them explains the score rather than adding a second copy.
The extra stage-win bonus
This is separate from ordinary earned stage points. It applies for each stage won by a driver counted for the player under the room’s rules. A stage winner who is not among that player’s counted drivers does not create a bonus for that player.
Check a score in the right order
In History, expand the driver summary. Identify the base, whether earned stages were already included or added separately, and any extra stage-win bonus. A recorded zero means zero; unavailable stage information means the data is not available and should not be assumed to be zero.
Availability and Base score only
Qualified earned-stage results are currently supported for NASCAR. Base score only preserves the base without an earned-stage addition. Display only can preserve a usable base while stage information is unavailable. Include needs qualified stage data and known official-total composition; an enabled extra win bonus needs qualified win data. Missing required evidence holds the score instead of supplying zero.
If something is wrong
If points are displayed but not separately added, check the stage mode and the base score. That can be correct. If the saved breakdown still conflicts with the saved rule, report the room, race, driver and exact missing component.
Player settings define the room’s capacity and joining arrangements. Capacity includes you, so allow for the commissioner if you also intend to play.
What to do
Choose the available capacity option and player limit.
Check whether the format uses shared or unique driver ownership.
Wait for driver-availability checks before confirming choices that depend on them.
Unique ownership limits places
If a driver can belong to only one player under the selection rules, the eligible driver list limits the number of players or selections the room can support. A larger number typed into capacity cannot create more eligible drivers.
Shared-driver formats
Shared-driver formats can offer Unlimited capacity. That means players may choose the same drivers where the room rules allow it; it does not remove deadlines or the requirement to complete and save a valid selection.
Capacity includes the creator
The Players step says capacity includes you. Unique-pick capacity also accounts for the eligible season roster, picks per player and enabled second picks. The current Weekly Pick the Winner caps are at most 16 for NASCAR Cup and 12 for Formula E, further limited by available drivers; the suggested limits are 12 and 10. Shared setups can offer Unlimited. Read the actual displayed limit after availability has loaded.
If something is wrong
If a capacity option is unavailable, read the format and driver-availability messages. If you want a different size of competition, review the format before creation. Confirm that the final Review includes enough places for your intended players.
Schedule defines which events count in the competition. The displayed deadline tells players when their selections must be completed; do not substitute a general race start time for the room’s actual deadline.
What to do
Choose the included events from the available schedule.
Check the series, season and event names, especially for a competition spanning several races.
Read the displayed deadline and its time zone before continuing to Review.
Fresh picks and retained teams
A room using independent race selections and a Team Draft have different deadline scopes. Team Draft locks against its first included event because that team carries across the selected races. Read the actual setup and room deadline for your chosen format.
Schedules can be incomplete
A season may have finished, or a future season’s schedule may not yet be available. An unavailable schedule is not a reason to choose unrelated events. Wait for usable schedule information before creating a competition around those races.
Choose the deadline rule
Lock at scheduled race start uses each included event for fresh race picks, or the first included event for Team Draft. Commissioner sets deadline later keeps picks closed until the commissioner supplies a valid deadline at or before race start. Read the zone beside the actual room deadline. Race Details may show both an explicit source time zone and your local time; a date without a confirmed start is not a known deadline.
If something is wrong
If schedule data is loading or a request fails, wait or use Retry. If the expected race is absent, recheck the series and season. Before creation, return to Review and check both the selected events and the deadline.
Review brings the setup choices together. Treat this as your final check of how people will join, pick and score, rather than a screen to click through quickly.
What to do
Check the room name, visibility, organization, series and season.
Read format, pick requirements, scoring, stages, bonuses and capacity together.
Verify included events and deadlines; use Back for corrections, then select the final Create button when ready.
Check combinations, not isolated labels
A Custom zero base can still receive enabled stage additions. A Team Draft keeps its team across included races and locks against its first event. Unique driver ownership affects capacity. Make sure the combined rules match the game you want players to understand.
Creation and invitations
The final Create action creates the room. Moving through the walkthrough does not. After creation, use the room’s invitation and membership controls to bring in players. Organization, series and season stay fixed, so resolve any doubt about those before creating.
If something is wrong
If the creation request reports an error or an uncertain result, read the message and check whether the room appears before submitting again. Do not assume a slow response means no room was created.
Your room brings together its rules, selections, scores and competition history. Open a room you have joined, then use the section that matches what you want to do.
What to do
Open Pools/Leagues and select the joined room.
Use My Picks or Draft Room to make selections, as offered by that format.
Use Overview or standings for totals, and More → History for individual races and driver contributions.
Controls follow the room’s state
A room may be waiting for membership verification, a picking turn, a deadline or results. Read the status beside the controls. A public preview is not the same as entering the room as a player.
Commissioner and player access
Being allowed to manage a room and being joined as a player are separate. Likewise, joining does not let you change commissioner settings. Use the account and role intended for the action.
If something is wrong
If you have no joined rooms, find one or use an invitation first. If an expected room is missing, check the signed-in account. Wait for membership checks to complete and use Retry if a loading error offers it.
Use the current room’s instructions to choose the required drivers or rankings. The requirements depend on the format; a valid selection in one room may be incomplete in another.
What to do
Check the room, race or week, deadline and current picking status.
Choose the required drivers, groups or ranking positions.
Review the whole selection, then use the room’s confirmation control and check the saved result.
Follow the selection model
Independent formats let eligible players submit before the deadline. Unique ordered formats follow the current turn. Team Draft needs one eligible driver from every required group. Full Order needs all required ranking positions, not just your favorites at the top.
A visible selection may still be a draft
Highlighting a driver or filling a selector does not necessarily save a pick. Look for the explicit confirmation step and the saved selection afterward. Check ownership and eligibility messages before choosing a replacement for an unavailable driver.
If something is wrong
If a control is disabled, check whose turn it is, whether the deadline has passed, whether every required position is filled and whether the driver is eligible. A slow eligibility check is not a reason to submit a different or incomplete selection.
The confirmation step turns your selection into a saved pick when the room accepts it. Before leaving, check the saved drivers or order shown by the room.
What to do
Review the selected drivers, required groups or full ranking.
Read the deadline and any eligibility message, then press the confirmation control when ready.
Wait for the result and verify the saved selection displayed in the room.
Avoid last-second uncertainty
Leave time for the request to finish before the deadline. A highlighted driver is not proof of a saved pick, and a slow connection can leave the result unclear. The saved room state is the thing to verify.
When the deadline closes
Closed selections become read-only under the room’s rules. Opening the room again does not extend the deadline. Do not assume you can revise a saved pick afterward; use only the changes the current room actually permits.
If something is wrong
If submission fails or the outcome is unclear, read the error and check the saved selection before pressing confirm again. Use Retry only where offered. For persistent problems, note the room, race, approximate time and message without sharing your password.
Some room behavior follows its saved rules without a fresh action from you, such as carrying a drafted team across races or processing scores when usable official results arrive.
What to do
Read the room’s saved rules for automatic picks, carry-forward behavior and deadlines.
Check the current status rather than assuming an action has already completed.
After a race, use History to see whether scoring is pending or a saved result is available.
Your format matters
Team Draft retains selections across included races. Other automatic-pick behavior depends on the room’s saved settings and eligibility. Do not assume that doing nothing will create the selection you want; inspect the actual rule and the saved picks.
Results need time to become scores
The end of the race and the completion of room scoring are different moments. Official results may be missing, incomplete or still being processed. A pending state is not a final zero score. Once saved, the driver breakdown explains what counted.
Do not rely on an unconfirmed automatic pick
Automatic selection is governed by the room’s saved missed-pick policy and eligible state; there is no universal promise that a missed pick creates your preferred driver. Check the saved selections. Team carry-forward and qualified result processing are separate from choosing and confirming a new pick.
If something is wrong
If a race has finished but no score appears, check the exact event and processing status. If the room still reports a failure after Retry, report the room and race. Reopening Help or the room does not change its deadlines or force a score.
History lets you inspect the saved result for an included race or week. Use it when you want to understand one event rather than the overall competition total.
What to do
Open the Pool or League → More → History.
Choose the included race or week you want to inspect.
Read the status and saved score, then expand the driver summary for the contribution breakdown.
Start with the right event
Check the race name and week before comparing numbers. A player’s overall total can contain several races, while a History entry describes one. Compare the score with the rules saved for that competition.
Pending, unavailable and zero
Pending means processing is not complete. Unavailable information means a required value is not available. A saved zero is a real recorded score. These states should not be treated as interchangeable, especially while official results are arriving.
Expand the saved contribution control
In a room, open More → History and select the race or week. Expand the summary labelled with the player name, driver count and points, for example “Player: 3 drivers · 100 points”, to see the saved contribution rows.
If something is wrong
If you believe only some drivers counted, expand the saved contribution summary and compare it with the saved selection. Record which driver and component are missing. Do not compare a whole-room total with a single race’s score.
The driver breakdown connects your saved selections to the race score. It shows which drivers counted and how the base score, earned stages and any extra stage-win bonus were treated.
What to do
Open the relevant race or week in History and expand the driver summary.
Check that the counted drivers match the room’s selection rules.
Read each component before comparing the combined race score with the player’s total.
Read the base first
Official Driver Points already includes awarded stage points. Custom uses the configured finishing-position values. Finish Position uses finishing position as its base and favors lower totals. The same finishing result can therefore create different room scores.
Then read stages and bonuses
An earned-stage value can be shown without a separate addition when the rule is Display only or the points are already included in the official base. A configured stage-win bonus is separate and applies for stages won by counted drivers. A zero Custom base does not automatically remove enabled stage additions.
Use the breakdown to report a specific issue
Identify the room, event, counted driver and component you expected. “This driver’s earned stages were not added under Include with Custom scoring” is more useful than comparing two unexplained totals.
Counted drivers and retained rules
All drivers on a complete Team Draft roster normally sum into the score unless an explicit saved aggregation rule says otherwise. Other rooms can count the best finish among selections, so not every selected driver necessarily contributes. The saved event rule version and counted-driver breakdown decide; a later settings label does not rewrite an earlier score.
If something is wrong
If a component is unavailable, do not substitute zero. If it appears twice or conflicts with the saved rule, keep the exact event and driver details and report the discrepancy. Avoid adding an official total and the same earned stages together yourself.
Player standings combine saved scores from the races included in the room. They tell you how participants compare under this competition’s scoring rules.
What to do
Open the room’s Overview or standings.
Check the scoring mode, included races and the saved rank beside each player.
Open History to inspect any race that contributes to a total you want to understand.
Know which direction wins
Finish Position scoring favors lower totals. Other points-based modes use their configured rules. Read the room’s scoring and tie-breakers instead of assuming that higher is always better or that a tie must be broken in a particular way.
A total can be incomplete while a race is pending
Only available saved race results contribute. A race can have ended while its room score is still pending. Compare the list of included, scored races before deciding that a cumulative total has omitted an event.
If something is wrong
For a mismatch, compare each saved race score and driver breakdown with the displayed total. Check that you are reading the same room and the same participant. Series championship standings are a separate set of totals.
Throttle Hub is the shared conversation area. Open a post to read its full text and replies; use its public link when you want to return to or share that exact conversation.
What to do
Browse the feed and open the post you want to read.
Expand the post’s comments and replies; read the thread in original creation-time order.
Use a public post’s link to open the same post directly, including in a new tab.
Home and the full Hub have different jobs
Home’s My Hub area is for your own posts. Throttle Hub is where you browse the wider conversation. The Home or Hub teaser can open the specific public post it describes, rather than leaving you to search for the truncated text.
Reading and interacting
Public posts can be read without joining the conversation. Posting and replying require a signed-in account, and restricted content still follows its audience rules. A shared link does not make private content public.
How the conversation feed is ordered
The signed-in community feed orders conversations by their latest eligible public post, comment or reply activity, with the most recent activity first. A new public reply can bring an older conversation forward. Likes and text edits do not create new conversation activity. Top-level comments are loaded newest first; replies within each comment follow original creation times from oldest to newest. Home’s My Hub contains your own posts. The public teaser opens the exact post it names; it is not a promise that the first conversation is the newest original post.
If something is wrong
If a shared link asks you to sign in, use the account with access in that browser. If reply ordering seems wrong, note the exact thread and visible times. Do not assume edited text changed the reply’s original creation time.
Inbox lists your conversations. Sent lists messages and requests you have sent, newest first, including requests awaiting a reply. A reply does not remove your message from Sent. Choose a Sent item to open its saved history; use Load more for older items. Opening Sent leaves incoming unread messages unread. Inbox and Sent keep your unsent draft and attachment while you switch. If sending fails, use Retry for the same attempt instead of sending a second copy. A saved Sent entry confirms persistence; it does not establish that the recipient has read it.
Write a post or reply
A post starts a conversation; a reply adds to an existing one. Check where you are writing and who can see it before you submit.
What to do
Sign in and open the Hub composer, or open a post and choose its reply control.
Write your message, review the audience and check any attachment you added.
Submit when ready and wait for the published message to appear.
Keep replies with the right conversation
Read the post and recent replies before adding your response. Use the reply control for that thread when your message belongs in the conversation, rather than starting an unrelated new post.
Draft and published are different
Text in a composer is still a draft until submission succeeds. If you are unsure whether a slow request completed, check the conversation before sending the same message again. Audience settings determine who can read the post; opening a guide does not change them.
If something is wrong
If a message or image fails, keep the text available and read the error before retrying. Check your connection and account. For restricted conversations, all required participants still need access. Never include passwords or sign-in codes in a support post.
Profile contains the display information associated with your account. Check the current fields and save the changes you intend other people to see.
What to do
Sign in and open Profile.
Edit the supported display fields and review the result.
Save, wait for confirmation and check the updated information.
Profile and Settings
Use Profile for the display information offered there. Use Settings for Home preferences and notification choices. Changing a visible profile field is different from changing which account is signed in.
Using more than one browser or device
A browser on your phone and a browser on your computer can be signed into different accounts. If your rooms, saved choices or access differ, check the signed-in account on each device. Guidance progress is kept in the browser separately for accounts and guest use.
The fields you can edit
Edit Profile offers Display name, Username @, Racing bio (up to 180 characters), Profile visibility and Profile picture, including Use initials and Use logo. Mention notifications, Comment and reaction notifications, and Friend and follow notifications are also saved with Save Profile. Password has its own control.
If something is wrong
If a save fails, read the field or save message and check whether the change actually appeared before retrying. For sign-in problems, use the app’s sign-in controls. Never share a password, verification code or private account token.
Notification settings let you choose supported ways to hear about activity. The app’s notification list and notifications delivered by your browser are separate, so check both the account setting and the device.
What to do
Open Settings and find the notification controls.
Choose the supported notifications you want, then save where a save action is provided.
For browser delivery, enable it on the device you intend to use and respond to that browser’s permission prompt.
In-app and browser delivery
You may be able to read notifications inside the app even when browser delivery is off. Browser delivery also depends on the browser and operating system allowing notifications. Enabling it on one device does not prove that a different device is configured.
Phone and consent choices
If SMS is offered, it requires explicit consent tied to the phone number. Do not assume that saving a phone number signs you up. Use the displayed controls to review or change notification choices; the guided tour does not enable them.
Find the right notification category
Settings offers Pool week reminders, Draft/Pick Room alerts, Browser notifications and optional SMS choices for draft opening, turns, deadlines and other pool notifications. Profile separately contains mention, comment/reaction and friend/follow notification choices. SMS requires explicit phone-bound consent and saving; none of these choices authorizes a new delivery service.
If something is wrong
If browser notifications do not arrive, check the app setting and the browser or operating-system permission on that device. If your device shows an additional setup requirement, follow the supported instructions shown there. Avoid repeatedly enabling unrelated settings.
Crew Chief offers help using the context available in the app. Give it a specific question and check that its answer refers to the series, race or room you mean.
What to do
Sign in and open Crew Chief with the floating CC button at the bottom-right of the app.
Ask a focused question, including the race or room when needed.
Read any availability message and compare the answer with the current room rules or race information.
Ask a question that can be answered clearly
For example, ask how the scoring mode shown in your room works or what a particular prediction explanation means. If the answer is about a different event, correct the context before using it.
Keep the final action in the room
Advice does not save a pick or change a competition. Review and confirm your actual selection in My Picks or Draft Room. Likewise, predictions are estimates, not guaranteed race results.
If something is wrong
If Crew Chief is unavailable, use the page’s Help topic or the room’s saved rules for the information already shown. Guests need to sign in for member access. Do not treat an unavailable answer as a change to a deadline or saved selection.
Commissioner controls are available to the roles allowed to manage the room. They show which changes are currently permitted and explain the impact before confirmation.
What to do
Open the room’s configuration controls using an account with management access.
Review the settings currently available to change and the impact information.
Confirm only the intended changes, then check the saved configuration.
What stays fixed
Racing organization, series and season remain fixed. Changes that affect existing selections, scores or competition history can be restricted. A new or unused room may allow changes that a room with saved activity no longer permits.
Management and participation
Commissioner access does not automatically make the account a player or bypass picking deadlines. Join and make selections through the player flow if you also intend to compete. Read the room’s current permissions rather than relying on an old description of editability.
If something is wrong
If a change is blocked, read the reason and preserve the existing history. Do not expect a wording change to authorize a rescore or a change to the racing scope. If the displayed explanation conflicts with the available controls, report the exact room and setting.
Newsroom is a coming-soon area. The page introduces that destination, but a news-reading or publishing service is not available there yet.
What to do
Read the coming-soon message for the current status.
Use Race Center for available schedules and results, or Throttle Hub for public conversations.
Where to go today
For a particular race, choose its series and season in Race Center. For community posts, open Throttle Hub. You do not need to search Newsroom for an article or publishing control that has not been released.
If something is wrong
An unavailable news feed on this placeholder is not a loading error to keep retrying. No release date should be assumed unless one is announced.
Games is a coming-soon area. Its placeholder does not currently contain a playable game or a separate game competition to enter.
What to do
Read the coming-soon message for its current status.
Use Pools/Leagues if you want to find, join or create a racing competition available now.
Play through the existing competition features
Public room previews explain the formats and rules currently offered. Choose a room that suits your group and follow its joining instructions. Opening Games does not create a competition or register a player.
If something is wrong
There is no game to unlock by repeatedly refreshing this page. Return to the available app features and look for an announced update rather than assuming a launch date.
Choose Race Center to follow racing, Pools/Leagues to compete, or Throttle Hub to read community posts. Help → Show me around offers a guided introduction. Explain this page opens guidance for where you are. You can skip or close a guide and replay a path later.
Open Help → Show me around and choose the path you want, or use Explain this page. The guide explains the controls; you still choose and confirm actual actions in the app. Closing or skipping help does not submit a pick, create a room or enable notifications.
Home uses your saved preference in Settings → Home banner. Race Center follows the organization, series and season you are browsing there. Change and save the Home preference if you want the banner to use a different series.
Open Race Center → Schedule for the intended organization, series and season. Previous Race and Next Race change the selected event in the panel; Latest Completed selects the most recent confirmed completed race. Open Race Details / Results, or browse the complete schedule below. Unknown start times and provisional dates stay unconfirmed.
The selected season may be complete, or future schedule information may not yet be available. Read the banner or schedule message and check the selected season. A missing date is not a confirmed cancellation, and a failed load is not proof that the season has ended.
When a confirmed entry list is not available for the selected event, predictions can use the current series roster. Provisional means participation is not confirmed. Check the event and the latest prediction status rather than treating every roster driver as a confirmed entrant.
Pending means the current display has no verified starting position. A complete qualified grid can affect a recalculated Cup prediction. Other current series show grid positions as context without using them numerically. Practice and qualifying are not separate factors. A newly published grid does not promise the displayed calculation has already changed; check Why this prediction.
They express the same Crew Chief probability. Win Chance is a percentage. Crew Chief Odds is its signed numeric conversion: 25% gives +300, 50% gives +100 and 75% gives −300. Below 50%, smaller positive values mean higher chances; above 50%, a larger absolute negative value means a higher chance. Neither number is a second forecast.
A preview lets you inspect the room. To play, sign in and complete its joining process, then open the room. Picking also depends on eligibility, the deadline and, for an ordered format, the current turn. A public preview does not make you a player.
Use the account that has access in that browser. Your phone and computer, or two browser profiles, can have different signed-in accounts. Public posts may be readable without signing in, but joining, posting and private room access have their own requirements. Check the destination again after sign-in.
Let the membership check finish and use Retry if it reports a failure. Check which account is signed in and whether the room already appears in your joined list. If a join completed, use Open pool room. Do not assume a slow response means the join failed or repeat the action without checking.
Look for the room’s explicit confirmation control, submit the complete eligible selection and wait for the result. Then check the saved drivers or order shown in the room. A highlight or a filled selector alone is not confirmation. If the result is unclear, inspect the saved selection before sending it again.
Read the room’s current message. It may be another player’s turn, the deadline may have closed, a required group or ranking may be incomplete, or eligibility may still be loading. Commissioner access does not bypass the player rules. Check the displayed deadline and the room’s saved selection settings.
The app needs usable official results and completed scoring for that room. A race ending and a score being saved are separate events. Open More → History, choose the exact race or week and read its status. Pending or unavailable information is different from a saved zero score.
Open the room → More → History → race or week and expand the driver summary. Compare the counted drivers with your saved selection and the room’s rules. Inspect the base, earned stage treatment and extra bonus for each counted driver before comparing the race total.
Display only shows earned stage points without a separate addition. Official Driver Points already includes awarded stage points, so adding the displayed stages again would double count them. With a base that does not already contain stages, Include can add them once. The saved breakdown explains which treatment was used.
No. Earned stage points come from the driver’s race result. A stage-win bonus is a separate amount configured by the room for each stage won by a counted driver. A player does not receive that bonus for a stage winner who was not among their counted drivers.
The zero setting controls the base points for that finishing position. If earned stages are included or a stage-win bonus applies, those separate components can still contribute. Inspect each saved component instead of treating a zero base as a promise of zero overall.
Finish Position scoring favors lower totals. Check the room’s scoring mode and tie-breakers, then use History to understand its race scores. Series championship standings and player standings are different competitions and need not use the same totals or ranking rules.
Only changes currently permitted by the room’s configuration controls can be confirmed. Organization, series and season stay fixed. Saved picks, scores and history can restrict other changes. Read the impact review; a permission to manage a room is separate from joining or picking as a player.
My Hub on Home is for posts you make. Throttle Hub contains the wider conversation. Sign in to see your own posts, or open Throttle Hub to browse public posts and replies.
Keep your text available and read the error. Check whether the message appeared before retrying, particularly after a slow connection. Check account and audience access for a restricted conversation. Retry the failed action when offered; do not send repeated copies without checking the thread.
Check the app notification choice and the browser or operating-system permission on that same device. The in-app notification list is separate from browser delivery. A setting enabled on another device does not prove this one is configured. Follow any supported device-specific setup instructions shown by the app.
Allow the current request to finish. If it reports an error, use the page’s Retry when offered. Check the current series, room and signed-in account before repeating a join, pick or create action. A slow response is not proof that a submission failed; inspect the saved result first.
No. Both are coming-soon destinations. Use Race Center for available racing information, Throttle Hub for community posts and Pools/Leagues for competitions. The placeholders do not currently provide a news service or playable game.
Include the page, room or race name, what you tried, what happened, the approximate time, the device and browser, and the exact error if there is one. For scoring, include the driver and component you believe is wrong. Do not send passwords, verification codes or private account tokens. Use the app’s existing support contact.
A saved score of 222 for one included race and 168 for another gives 390 in total: 222 + 168 = 390. The total alone does not show which drivers contributed; expand each race’s History entry for that breakdown.
With a configured bonus of 10 points per stage win, a counted driver who wins two stages earns 20 extra bonus points: 2 × 10 = 20. This is the extra bonus only, not the driver’s entire contribution. A player who did not count that driver receives none of that driver’s bonus.
A displayed component is not always an extra addition
If the base is Official Driver Points, its awarded stage points are already included. The breakdown may show stages to explain the result. Adding the same stages to the official base again would count them twice. Display only likewise makes a component visible without adding it separately.
Under Custom scoring, a finishing position can be assigned a zero base. If earned stages are included or an extra stage-win bonus applies, the driver can still contribute through those components. Read the saved rule and breakdown together.
